Sharon Lynch Body Mind Movement

Sharon Lynch is teaching in the field of wellness through the arts for over 25 years, working in both private and community-based projects with all ages. She is based in Athenry, Co. Galway where she runs her practice as a mindfulness teacher for young people, both online and in person. Sharon also works with Youth Work Ireland and enjoys helping young people of all ages to find calm through creative pursuits.

Training as a practitioner in embodied dance, Dancing The Rainbow - Holistic Well-Being Through Movement' in 2009, deepened her knowledge of meditation and mindfulness in movement, as well as colour and music therapy. Sharon has a Degree in Fine Art, and accreditations in drama studies, personal development, reiki and life coaching. She is a qualified Connected Kids tutor, Radiant Child Yoga teacher and an accredited Creative Mindfulness for Kids Practitioner.

Sharon is passionate about teaching young people how to calm their minds using their breath, body, and creativity to feel better. Mindfulness and creativity combined boosts confidence and promotes relaxation in a fun environment, making it the perfect resource to calm young minds.


Tailored one to one consultations with Sharon gives clients personal tools to destress and self-regulate while doing the things they enjoy the most. These sessions will address the particular needs of your child and help them find a centre of calm in themselves. 

Creating a personal wellness plan for you and your child will enable you to take control of your mental wellbeing and move forward towards a better daily life together, benefiting everyone in the family.

Group classes last over 6 weeks with each week building on the next. Children gain the skills they need to  deal with difficult emotions and  manage stress.
